Do you have a long weekend? This is the trip we made with our partner Zippita. In this tour we visited 3 of the most important cities of Morocco, Rabat, Casablanca and Marrakesh, stopping over places as emblematic as the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, the Hassan Tower and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V-Hassan II in Rabat and the square Djemaa el fna in Marrakech.
An ideal experince to impregnate yourself with the culture, enjoy the architecture, and hallucinate with the wonderful hand made work.
It was an amazing weekend in which we were delighted with the typical Moroccan dishes (that never cease to amaze us), we were absorbed by the beauty of the constructions and the mosaics and we were soaked in knowledge seeing how they work the wool, the wood and the pottery, among many other things. And of course! There’s always time for shopping!: Foulards, leather bags, spices, dishes and ceramic jars… The hard thing was to make space in the carry-on suitcase! But hey, that’s another story!
We also made the most of the weekend, which turned out to be a little rainy, to pamper ourselves and relax in the hammam of the hotel we stayed in. A unique experience! I’ve never been so clean!
And to take advantage of the last few hours, a relaxing massage and a dinner in a typical restaurant, show of drums and belly dance!
Zippita used the trip as an inspiration in her project. She is a young entrepreneur with a unique jewelry project and unlimited creativity. If you are looking for a different and hand made creation, we recommend you to visit her web page www.zippita.com. We can’t wait to see your new designs inspired in Morocco! And thank you for trusting us for this experience.
